Whenever I get the chance, I enjoy making explanatory science graphics. I made many for the Guardian, most of which were published in the print edition. This graphic explaining what the term 'habitable exoplanet' means, was one of my favourite. I have also worked on a handful of diagrams and posters for physicists at the University of Ottawa and Oxford University. I love the puzzle of trying to explain complicated scientific concepts in a visual way.
